The easiest and best way to get to The Dunning Hotel is by car. The village of Dunning lies just off, about a 5-10 minute drive from the main A9 road – that big highway linking Edinburgh and Glasgow in the south with Perth and Inverness in the north. An easy find for the hotel with the added big bonus of free parking right at the premises. It takes about 45-60 minutes to drive here from Edinburgh Airport (EDI).

For those traveling by public transport, the journey is even longer. The best route is either by train or by airport bus from Edinburgh Airport (EDI) or Glasgow Airport (GLA) to the city of Perth (being the closest major transport hub). From the Perth bus station, Stagecoach buses (such as route 17) go to Dunning. This service is infrequent, so a timetable check is well warranted. A taxi from Perth to Dunning is also an option and takes about 15-20 minutes.
